Why on earth would you put on a pair of virtual reality goggles and instead of playing some off-the-wall games, play a job simulator instead? Yeah, that's a pretty good question.

Job Simulator takes full advantage of the possibilities of virtual reality: You have to turn around, bend and stretch in your workspace to use a wide variety of objects.

Job Simulator's plot is just as shallow as the game's name implies. The year is 2050 and we are in a "work museum". By now, every job is done by robots, "bots", and poor people can't even imagine what it was like to have to do typical jobs. That's why the museum. So here we slip into the role of a

A bot accompanies us along the way, regaling us with sarcastic comments ("People need coffee in the morning to function") and explaining exactly what needs to be done. At our new workplace, a few quests are then lined up, one of which we have to complete before the next one begins.

Depending on which job we have chosen, these are tasks like do the sales figures (office), put together a motivational presentation (office), look at your colleagues' stupid pictures of children (office), make tea ("water and taste") (fast food store), give the annoying kid at the checkout some candy to make him stop crying (supermarket), So you see - this simulator is not completely serious.

Job Simulator - Is it worth it? The game is not demanding. But it is lovingly made. Especially the texts of the bots and the quests are quite funny and appropriate. Especially in the office, one cliché follows the next.

Otherwise, there is no game goal. No high scores, no improved equipment. It's just a (sarcastic) job simulator. It's just about having done it. There are decision options ("Just give the customer something!"), but they don't change the course of events. So once you've played through a job, it's not worth doing it a second time.

Yes, Job Simulator is worth it.
